Step2: Add your name to tag
Preview
  • For a new name open a new text box and choose the font you would like to use.
  • Place your text box over the horizontal bar that goes across the egg. Try to line the bottom of your letters over the bar so you can attach them to each other.
  • The bar is not united yet so you can move it up and down as needed.
  • Highlight your name, the bar and the egg and use the unite feature to combine these items.
  • Now you have your 2 pieces ready to be cut.
3
Step3: Cut out name tag

Input the settings listed above, if using the same machine and cut out your pieces for your name tag. Then remove pieces from your machine.

4
Step4: Paint

At this point you can paint your project in your desired way. We used FolkArt acrylic craft paint available online or at Walmart. This paint also dries extremely fast (within minutes).

5
Step5: Glue

After your paint has dried you can glue your top piece to the bottom egg piece, while lining up the edges, with any wood glue you have available.

6
Step6

After the glue has dried you can add a piece of twine, leather cord or even chiffon works well. Loop it through the hole in the egg and you are ready to hang it onto an Easter Basket!
