Ho usato un foglio di compensato di 40x30 per uno spessore di 3 mm (o anche meno 2/1.5 mm in quanto lo spessore non è vincolante non essendoci incastri). Avrete bisogno inoltre di un po di nastro largo di carta, colla, colori acrilici (azzurro, bianco e nero) ed una piccola molletta.

IMPORTANTE

1. Fate in modo che durante il taglio non cadano giù i pezzi più piccoli posizionando un pannello di legno più spesso sotto il compensato da tagliare

Caricate il file xcs, regolate fuoco ed area di lavorazione ed avviate il laser.

I used a 40x30 sheet of plywood with a thickness of 3 mm (or even less, 2/1.5 mm, as the thickness is not binding since there are no joints). You will also need some wide paper tape, glue, acrylic paints (blue, white, and black), and a small clothespin.

IMPORTANT

Make sure that the smaller pieces do not fall off during cutting by placing a thicker wooden panel under the plywood to be cut.

Load the xcs file, adjust the focus and working area, and start the laser.

PRIMA DI TOGLIERE IL PANNELLO DAL PIANO DEL LASER

Prendete il nastro di carta e nastrate, evitando pieghe, coprendo le parti evidenziate in foto per evitare che le lettere cadano o si spostino. Con pazienza e delicatezza e mettete da parte i pezzi, facendo attenzione alle quattro parti dove ci sono le scritte e ora mettete il nastro carta anche sulla parte posteriore delle lettere poichè per colorarle  dovremo togliere il nastro messo inizialmente sulla parte frontale delle lettere e dobbiamo fare in modo che non si muovano

BEFORE REMOVING THE PANEL FROM THE LASER TABLE

Take the paper tape and tape it down, avoiding creases, covering the parts highlighted in the photo to prevent the letters from falling off or moving. Patiently and carefully set the pieces aside, paying attention to the four parts where the writing is, and now place the paper tape on the back of the letters as well, because in order to color them, we will have to remove the tape initially placed on the front of the letters and we must make sure that they do not move.

in questa fase posizionate i supporti tondi sui cerchi incisi sulla parte interna del pannello posteriore, posizionate le rotelle orario e verificate che i dentini fuoriescano quel tanto che ci permetta di ruotarle con facilità (vedi foto). Fate la stessa cosa per entrambe le rotelle.

ATTENZIONE con la colla, usatene poca e lontano dalle rotelle cosi eviterete bloccaggi o fastidiosi attriti

At this stage, position the round supports on the circles engraved on the inside of the rear panel, position the clockwise wheels and check that the teeth protrude just enough to allow us to rotate them easily (see photo). Do the same for both wheels. 

BE CAREFUL with the glue, use a little and keep it away from the wheels to avoid jamming or annoying friction.

Avete spostato il nastro di carta come indicato nello step 2? Bene altrimenti fatelo!
 

Per la P dovendo usare anche il rettangolo per comporre il segnale la estrarremo facendo attenzione a non togliere la parte interna che deve essere azzurra.

Per le scritte invece useremo solo le lettere ed il rettangolo che le contiene come dima.

For the P, since we also need to use the rectangle to compose the signal, we will extract it, taking care not to remove the inner part, which must be blue. For the lettering, on the other hand, we will only use the letters and the rectangle that contains them as a template.

Incollate i due segnali di pargheggio per primi, perchè per le due scritte la procedura à un po più delicata, io ho fatto così:

1. ho rimesso il nastro carta sulla parte frontale della scritte e l'ho fatto aderire bene
2. ho tolto il nastro dalla parte posteriore della scritta
3. ho applicato (pochissima) colla solo sul retro delle lettere, considerando che la pressione della pinza l'avrebbe fatta spargere, bisogna evitare che poi si incolli anche la dima.
4. posizionato la dima in modo da far coincidere il bordo superiore e quelli laterali 
5. dopo aver fatto asciugare la colla, con molta delicatezza prima togliere il nastro e poi sollevare lateralmente e lentamente la dima facendo attenzione che le lettere restino sul piano

Spero di essere stato chiaro ed esaustivo e che siate soddidfatti sia delle istruzioni che del pezzo finito (è la mia prima condivisione), ad ogni modo accetto eventuali critiche perchè penso che nella vita ci sia sempre da imparare qualcosa.

Glue the two parking signs first, because the procedure for the two signs is a little more delicate. This is what I did:

1. I put the paper tape back on the front of the signs and made sure it stuck well. 

2. I removed the tape from the back of the signs. 

3. I applied (very little) glue only to the back of the letters, considering that the pressure of the pliers would cause it to spread, so as to avoid sticking the template as well. 

4. I positioned the template so that the top and side edges matched up. 

5. After letting the glue dry, very gently remove the tape first and then slowly lift the template sideways, making sure that the letters remain on the surface.
 

I hope I have been clear and comprehensive and that you are satisfied with both the instructions and the finished piece (this is my first sharing). 

In any case, I welcome criticism because I think there is always something to learn in life.
