a memory photo frame that you can change the text to highlight the date location and something important from the event( mine is my wife's and mine wedding song)
two canvases in file, photos is from first canvas, second canvas is slightly smaller dimensions and has the middle plate adjusted so bottom of picture is behind front plate as well

Step1: material prep
prep your plywood by sanding it with 220 or 400 grit sandpaper and ensure to wipe clean.
if staining you can stain just the section for the face and wait for it to be completely dry before cutting and engraving.

Step2: cut out pieces
cut out all pieces and engrave face plate, use own discretion on engraving parameters as you may need more passes to achieve engraving appearance.

Step3: glue up

glue your three layers together, i found it easier to glue two pieces together and then glue the third one after to ensure all pieces align.
square for the back wedge can be inserted into the slot on the back and can be glued in place or left free.
clean and stain additional areas as you like
