Hanukkah is the Festival of Lights, so I made a decorative light display to add to the celebration. I asked AImake to create an iridescent style image for a Hannukkah light, that I then edited and engraved onto clear acrylic which I then cut to fit a wooden stand with a built-in LED strip.
I hope this project brings warmth and light to your holiday!
Place your acrylic sheet into the machine. Use "Aimed" Measure" to measure the material and snap a photo of the workspace. (Note: You may need to place a piece of paper onto the clear acrylic to allow for accurate measurement. Once the measurement is complete, remove the paper and retake a photo of the workspace.)
Move the image onto the material, using “Close Shot” to ensure proper positioning.
The yellow layer (Hebrew text “Chag Chanukah Sameach” = Happy Chanukah Holiday) should be set to engrave.
The blue layer should be set to engrave for the image and to score for the Hebrew letters on the dreidels.
The red layer should be set to cut.
Gently wash off the debris from the processed acrylic and dry. Fit the tab on the bottom of the acrylic into the LED stand. Flip the switch and enjoy!
