If you don't like opening cases of your sunglass collection and want to personalize their storage location, I created a relatively simple project to get you started on organizing them into a quaint station.
The first thing is to design the box-like base and faceplate stand with corresponding holes for the sunglasses.
I measured the width of the plywood with a caliper and found it to be roughly 5.89mm.
Therefore, I created a template for a cutout around the joining edges with the dimensions being 5.89mmX12mm.
You can make the side supports bigger or larger using the template rectangle to cut them out and array them 12mm out along the X or Y axis.
The two lines are my measurement guides. One for the width of the sunglass arms. One for the height necessary for each pair.
NOTE - make sure to measure your sunglass arms as they vary in size, width and height.
For this part you can get creative for the brand of sunglasses and the style. Use your creative freedom!
Glue and assemble the pieces.
