I wanted to create simple Easter design for our house. The design is flexible in that you can change the "wreath" design or you can change out the hanging center to highlight different holidays.
Choose a round “wreath” design from the shapes section on the left, set this to engrave. Then, create a circle around the outside and a circle around the inside of this shape, set these to cut. Use the align function to center these 3 things horizontally and vertically.
Additionally, you will need 2 smaller cut out circles that you will use for rope, approximately ½ to ¼ inch, at the top of the “wreath”. You can also use combine → Subtract to remove the engraved part that overlaps with the cut outs to save some time/power.
I used a bunny shape in XCS to create this bunny, this doesn't necessarily have to be centered in the middle part, but does need to be smaller than the hole in the wreath.
Add a hole to the top (think about how gravity will affect it when choosing placement) and any words as engraving.
Tie the center bunny to the center hole and add a hanging tie to the top hole. Display proudly!
