Laser Cut Baby's First Christmas Santa Ornament 2025

1.     Paint a piece of wood white, this gives a brighter colour to the image as there is so much white that would otherwise look mutted over the basswood

Once the paint is dry, coat with clear Gesso.  I have found the print quality is best on the Ultra if printing over a surface coated with Gesso.

3.     Laser cut your Santa Face

4.     Next laser engrave and cut the ornament base.

5.     To assemble, simply line up your face with the cutout area and glue.

6.     If wish, you can insert the child’s name by double clicking the text and typing your name.  The name will move to the central position as you type.
