This beautiful Santa Claus for the door or wall was created with the help of AImake to decorate the house during this festive period. (The prompt is in the photos and step-by-step instructions)
The pieces are all laser-cut and painted, and then the final piece is assembled like a puzzle. Attention is needed during assembly, but it's not too complex.
After create the design with de AImake help I made some adjusts and cut the design from 3mm MDF using a laser, carefully remove the parts and reassemble them on a table to avoid losing any pieces (this helps speed up the final assembly).Carefully separate the outline piece, being careful not to break it. Keep the remaining pieces on the table as close to the assembly order as possible. Protect the sign part with stickers and paper, and paint the Santa Claus figure with black spray paint
Paint the letters and snowflakes; I used gold and silver spray paint consecutively.Glue the outline onto the backing board (glue it to the board, not the outline; it's easier to align them this way). Let it dry with a weight on top for better adhesion. After it dries, paint the sign. I used green to highlight the gold letters. The score made on this board helps guide the gluing of the letters.
Glue the letters as well.Paint the remaining pieces in your desired colors. I used acrylic paint in the standard Santa Claus colors, but feel free to choose any color you like. Try to maintain the original sequence because it helps a lot when gluing the pieces onto Santa Claus.Let it dry and then just glue it into the empty spaces along the outline. Pay attention when painting and fitting them together; I myself painted some on the reverse side, but you just need to adjust the side and paint again.I used UV resin on the eyes to give them shine, and on his belt too.Use a gold string to hang the snowflakes in the holes of the plaque and it's ready. I used it on the wall with tape, but it can also be supported by the plaque with a nail or screw.
