This bunny was a random Idea I got a few hours ago. First things first I sketch it in Procreate on Ipad.

This time again I wanted to focus on XCS 2.0 Beta version to make it easier to create along.

As visible on the Image, I choosed to use a few shapes, rotated, resized, rectangle and circles. After that only one thing needed: combining everything.

For this step I measured my 20€ and made the smaller rectangles that length and 3mm height. Added a bar in the middle and combined all together. 

Now it's a very long H shape :D

Adjust the sizes for this one depending on your money you want to give away. Most should fit, but I'm not sure for Dollars.

I liked the Face drawing I made so I copied the Design from my psd file directly into XCS, also the little Text on on the bottom. 

I decided not only to engrave the parts but make it stand out by scoring afterwards. This adds a defined engraving edge.

How to make these Parts usable?

When you copy Photoshop content directly into XCS its like a png or jpg with white background. 

To get rid use the trace function, there you can set the threshold to get the contours you want to use for your project. Play around and you can get great results.

After Saving I like to combine all the parts to one object.

I choose the option for the processing path to be user defined by layer. 

1. Engrave
2. Score
3. Cut

Please make sure to try these settings with a test cut for your material. Or change them to fit your needs!

When doing this, it might be a bit difficult to get the Money in the cut out but with some patience it will work. 

My solution: Roll the note, bend it in the middle and then place it inside the bars to hold it. Tape at backside.

And et voilà yout little gift is ready for you somebunny ;)
