Information

      I had troubles achieving color on these "304 Stainless Steel" Business cards from AliExpress and alike, 
but managed to get these Setting Working. 
Make sure you defocus the Laser, so the heating is more even, and the finish has less of an influence on the outcome.

Step1: Load the XCS

Load the XCS and go through the usual focusing and alignment, 
then make sure to defocus the laser by adding 0,6mm to your Z focus height.
You may wanna change the processing mode to “by Layer” to use the more spread out pattern I made using the different layers, to have heat be more predictable. 
Have the red parts engrave last by moving it down in the layer view.



Also thoroughly clean the business card prior to engraving to remove any machining oils, 
and keep the manufacturing lines the same across your test grid and engraving to have the colors be more reliable.
