Select the relief pattern for engraving, set the pattern size, adjust its position, and use the recommended parameters for laser relief engraving.
Use tools such as the Flexible Fixture to secure the ring in the device’s processing area, placing the engraved surface facing upward. Ensure that the ring’s engraving surface is level. Perform a pre-processing check before laser engraving to guarantee that the relief pattern is accurately engraved onto the ring.
After completing the relief engraving on the ring, do not move the ring. Create a filled shape the same size as the relief image. Set the previously engraved relief image to “Do Not Execute” and move the filled shape directly on top to fully cover it. Set the filled shape to “Execute” and choose the deep engraving mode. After setting the parameters, proceed with the processing.
The deep engraving step is used to remove the surface oxidation on the metal caused by the relief engraving. After the deep engraving is finished, allow the ring to cool. Then use a silver polishing stick to carefully sand and finely polish the engraved area.
After polishing a silver ring with a silver polishing stick, the three-dimensional effect of the engraved area may be reduced. To preserve the relief effect, use only the matte side of the polishing stick. If you want to enhance the silver’s luster, you can use the smooth side for polishing.
