Step 1) For this project it starts with a rectangle from the insert button feature. The corners of this rectangle is rounded off with the use of the radius feature. The radius is set to 0.2 to have a full rounded corner. This now becomes the shape of the playing card.

Step 2) Now we need the famous spade shape, this is brought into the work area from an SVG image of it from the computer. It is placed directly in the center of the rounded rectangle. The next step is to create a second and third spade. This is done by copy and pasting the first one. These 2 copied spades are reduced in size and will go opposite of each other in the top left corner and bottom right corner. One facing upright while the other upside down.

Step3: The A for Ace

Step 3) Now the A is needed, this is done with the text editor and the font is selected. This A is sized to fit properly and is made longer is shape. These 2 letter A's are placed the same way as the small spades in top left and bottom right.  Now the outside rectangle is outlined and is set to have a slight border around the card. This inside line will be set to be scored. Then it is sent to the machine for cutting and scoring.

Step 2) Now the pieces are ready to be put together, as you can see the wood was painted white before the cutting started so the only thing that needs paint now are the pieces that were cut out, The spades and the letter A. once these are painted black and are dry they simply are placed back into their respective places and are glued in place. Now the large Ace of Spades is ready to be displayed.
