Step 1) This project starts with a shape like an egg. The first thing is to use the insert button and with the line option selected. A short angled line is created. This is done across the egg with several created lines at different angles so it appears as a crack across the egg. These lines are carefully placed so they just touch each other when they are changing angles so it will cut all the way across.

Step 2) Now Happy Easter is spelled out and a font that is whimsical is selected. This is placed on the lower part of the cracked egg on an angle. Then the outside line of the egg is copy and pasted to create a second one. This will be the backing of this project. Now everything is ready so the settings are now adjusted.

Step 3) Now the project is put together. The bottom portion of the cracked egg is painted white, Then the lettering is painted pink. the top portion of the egg is left bare. now when everything paint wise is dry the pieces are glued on top of the backing board and the broken Easter egg is ready to display.
