Laser Cut Wooden Capybara Wreath Earrings with Colorful Detailing
Use the attached file, and engrave/cut the design. The settings are working well on 3mm pine plywood sheets with a 10W M1 machine. I made 2 sizes - in the file, you have the smaller one. (Just enlarge it, if you want to adjust).
I like to sand my designs, I use very fine (180-200) sanding paper for that.
I am using acrylic markers for painting, Posca markers are coming very handy, easy to work with.
Paint out your design, wait a bit after every step to let it dry. I added a closeup for reference.
Use a clear coat (paint it, or you can use spray too); I like the glossy finish one. You can skip this step if you don't care about water resistance - I want to make sure that a rainy day won't ruin my work :)
Wait - again - until it dries.
Add earring settings, and then - ready to wear your new festive earrings!
Share, if you made it! :)
