Use dot matrix design to enhance light guidance and create acrylic light wall decorations
Use the Material Setting parameters to process, engrave the dot matrix font pattern and light guide strips, and then laser cut them. I used 1/8" (3mm) Fluorescent Red Translucent Acrylic. If you want other colors, you can replace the translucent acrylic sheet with other colors.
For the back panel, I’m using 7/64" (2.6 mm) See-through Mirror Acrylic. Its surface finish creates a mirror effect that reflects the lettering. I fabricated it using the same material-setting parameters.
Next, use RGB sign standoffs to join the front panel and the back panel. Tidy up the wiring, then mount the assembly on the wall. Of course, you can choose other mounting methods if you prefer.
