Replacement plywood box for Costco plastic wrap cardboard box

      Normally those boxes don't resist the wear and tear of regular use and we end up with the plastic roll that is inconvenient to use. I made my box with 3mm birch and acrylic. The acrylic is really important because it maintain in place the plastic film: no longer you need to open the box each and everytime to try find the end of the roll and put it back in place through the tiny slit. The film is always stretched and you can use both hands. Plus, you no longer need any cutter! Ingenious and convenient. The next iteration would be to add a nice line pattern in Inkscape or better yet Rhino/Grasshopper😀 on the sides to make it more beautiful.
