I made this for people who like cats.
Instruction
1
Step1: Cut hanger holes and paint MDF round

Cut hanger holes then paint MDF round for base.

Step2: Cut bottom section out of 1/4" birch

The most important thing to remember is to save the “middles” when cutting letters that are not script. If you stick them on painter's tape on a paper plate they are easier to paint.

Step3: Cut outline for "Welcome"

Cut the background out of ¼" birch then paint in color of choice.

Step4: Cut "Welcome"
Preview
Cut acrylic from the back with both protective layers still attached for a cleaner finish. Image needs to be flipped.

Step5: Glue wood and MDF then spray on gloss clear coat

Be sure to save acrylic “ Welcome” to glue on after clear coating.
