Laser Cut Wooden Sunflower Earrings with Hand Painted Details

For these earrings, I pre-painted the plywood board with white chalk paint. Then, engraved and cut the design.

The settings are for M1 10W machine - please adjust if needed.

Use fine sanding paper to make your pieces smooth. Sand the sides and the back side as well, then wipe it off.

On the 2nd picture you can see the difference.

I am using acrylic paint markers to paint out the sunflower. Yellow, a bit of red, and dark brown.

If you want to get this aged look, sand your pieces again.

If you want to make it extra secure, you can seal it. It will make it a bit water resistant.

(I would use matte varnish for this style.)

Add earring settings (1-1 circles, and 1-1 earring hoops), then you are ready to wear :)
