Cut out all of the parts.

Since the xTool Creative Space doesn't provide a 4mm basswood option, you will need to adjust the settings yourself.

I found that going at the same power but 2/3 of the speed worked quite well. I suggest you test on a small piece of wood first and tune in the settings.

Use the pictures for a visual help. The pictures are in the same order as below assembly guide.

  1. Take one longer side piece and the thin long piece as shown in the first picture.
  2. Press in the longer piece completely through the side piece. This will be on the inside of the box.
  3. Add three small rectangular pieces on the protruding parts on the other side. This will be visible from the outside.
  4. Repeat for the other side wall so you get two pieces.

Take all four wall pieces and add the bottom.

First put the wall pieces together. You can use tape or rubber bands to hold them in place. Make sure they align well together. If they don't then you got the orientation wrong. The two shorter wall pieces are different and fit only to one side.

Add the wall pieces to the bottom piece. All four pieces need to be added at the same time as they mesh with each other as well.
