      This A5-format test sheet is designed for quick material testing, easy organization in a DIN A5 binder, and efficient reference.
It helps you determine the best parameters for engraving and cutting different materials.

✅ Works well for many materials: tested with wood, paper, and black acrylic.
❌ Colored acrylic didn’t work in this setup.

It’s especially useful if you want to:
Check how to achieve deeper engravings
Compare whether your laser performance has changed over time using the same parameters
    

Instruction

Step1: Insert material & load file

Place your material in the laser and open the prepared test file.

Step2: Enter material name

Add the name of the material directly into the file for later reference.

Step3: Prepare layers

Ignore the blue and black layers for now.

Step4: Run the red layer

Laser the red layer as your first baseline test.

Step5: Define test parameters

  1. Keep the material in the laser.
  2. Adjust engraving and cutting parameters.
  3. Enter these values into the black layer (engraving) and blue layer (cutting).
  4. Ignore the red layer now.

Step6: Run the black & blue layers

Laser the black (engraving) and blue (cutting) layers with your chosen parameters.

Step7: Evaluate results
