Information
3 layers of mushrooms. A perfect gift for anyone who likes mushrooms. There are several different mushroom types in the design. Paint them in appropriate color or go with a high contrast scheme.

Step1: Cut out the pieces

Cut out the pieces. When removing small cutouts from the middle be careful not to brake anything.

Step2: Paint the pieces

Paint the pieces any color you like. You can use appropriate colors or go with something else entirely. I found their natural colors a but too dull when I decided to paint the design so I tried a different combination.
Make sure you paint the correct side.

Step3: Glue the layers
Preview
Glue the layers together. Use wood glue or gel type superglue. I recommend you clamp the pieces together.
Try to align the layers as best as you can.

Step4: Final touches
If you didn't align the layers well together, you can sand the perimeter. This will also help it stand upright by itself.
Optionally you can also paint the perimeter to hide any defects and make a well rounded piece.
