Information
I refined Jaccobb's Double Business Card Jig process for the xTools F1 laser engraver. After using their design, I identified areas for improvement to enhance the user experience. I observed that the original design posed a risk of excess glue seeping into the card slots when glued together. To address this, I indicated on the top section that it should be placed facing the glue. With the F1, the outer edges cut at an angle, making it challenging to align both sections precisely and potentially causing issues with card alignment. Flipping the top over positions the outside edge of the cut, resulting in a much tighter tolerance to the card, minimizing inherent drift and ensuring better alignment with your project. Additionally, I added engraved dots as indicators for where to apply a very small amount of glue to prevent overspill into the card holder sections. I used Gorilla Glue (Super Glue) for this, other methods to glue these halves together may be able to be used. I don't know if craft glue would work or not.

The Top took 4:03 and Bottom took 4:33 minutes respectively. Lastly, I would add, and others may be aware of this tip make sure you check each element in your design, to ensure that it is set properly to "Score, Engrave, Cut". Found out the hard way myself. Lessons learned.
