Steps for Making Glitter Acrylic Keychains

Choose Font - I used bubblgum font which you can find on Creative Fabrica

Add offset to the name your using and size how you like it the offset will be used as the backing.

Choose Your Acrylic

Select a sheet of glitter acrylic (or any color/style you prefer). Standard 1/8" (3mm) acrylic .

Prepare Your Adhesive

Cut a sheet of 3M 468 double-sided adhesive to the size of your acrylic.

[Can use super glue but it wont be as clean.]

Apply it firmly to the back side of your acrylic sheet before cutting. This will make attaching your design layers or keychain hardware smooth and secure.

Set Up Your Laser

Place your acrylic sheet on the laser bed.

I recommend using air assist – this keeps the cut edges cleaner, reduces charring, and prevents melted acrylic buildup.

If you dont have air assist your gonna waste alot of acrylic.

Cut the Outline

After engraving, run the cut pass to release your keychain shape from the sheet.

Make sure to include a small hole for attaching the keyring.

Peel and Finish

Carefully remove protective film and peel the adhesive backing if you’re layering designs.

Add your keyring hardware through the hole.

Optional Touches

You can layer multiple acrylic colors by cutting shapes with the adhesive backing applied, then pressing them together.

For added durability, lightly flame-polish edges (optional).
