Step-by-Step Instructions:
Prepare the design
Lantern panels with Halloween motifs and a central cut-out “window.”
Add a hinged door and top handle/loop.
Cut & engrave
Engrave motifs, then cut all lantern parts.
Cut additional decorative shapes from paper if desired.
Assemble the lantern
Glue side panels together and attach base.
Attach the opening door with handle.
Fix carrying loop on top.
Prepare the paper inserts
Draw, paint, or cut shapes on thin paper.
Glue paper to the inside of each window panel.
Finishing & lighting
Sand edges lightly.
Optionally paint or varnish the lantern.
Insert a battery-powered LED candle (no real flame).
