Information

A box for storing your paper notes. Useful for school or office work. Designed with a flexible element in the wall to make the curved edges.
Looks very nice and can be painted or stained easily.

Instruction

Step1: Cut out the parts

Cut out the parts. Since there is a flexible element you must use a soft wood.

The profile doesn't include an additional bottom cover, but if you wish, just cut an additional bottom part without the holes.

Step2: Assemble the top bracket

Glue the two top pieces together. Clamp them until the glue cures.

I suggest you rotate them so that any burn marks are hidden.

Step3: Add the wall to the bottom part

Apply glue to the bottom part as in the picture. You can also apply it to the wall where it will join the bottom part.

Add the wall part to the bottom part. Make sure you orient it correctly. The cutout on the bottom part opposite of the two cutouts is for the middle of the wall part. See the 2nd picture for help.

I started in the middle and worked my way to the front from both sides. Once the wall is inserted, firmly press to ensure good contact.

Step4: Add the top bracket

The wall will hold its shape quite well. Add the top bracket as shown in the picture.

I suggest you apply some weight on the top until the glue cures. This will ensure everything is held nicely together.

Remove any excess glue.

Step5: Paint or stain - optional

Optionally, you can paint or stain the part for a nice finished look.
