Information

These fun Halloween tags are made from 300g cardstock using the xTool M1 Ultra with the electrostatic mat, the pen drawing module, and the fine-point blade.
They’re perfect as spooky gift tags, party favors, or little decorations!

Instruction

1

Step1: Prepare your paper

Place a sheet of 300g colored cardstock on the electrostatic mat inside the xTool M1 Ultra.

2

Step2: Frame the working area

  • Use the framing tool to check the exact placement of your design on the paper.
  • Adjust if needed so all tags fit well.
3

Step3: Pen Drawing (black outlines & text)

Install a black drawing pen in the module.

⚠️ Make sure the correct pen settings are selected (e.g., color filling or line drawing).

Double-check that any parts you don’t want to draw are set to “ignore” (see screenshot above).

Start the pen drawing process and let the M1 draw the design and main text.

4

Step4: Pen Drawing (color variation, optional)

  • If you want multi-colored text (e.g., “Happy Halloween” in red or names in blue), switch to the desired pen.
  • Again, check the settings carefully so only the new text is enabled, while the previous parts are ignored.
  • Run the pen drawing process again.
5

Step5: Blade Cutting

  • Switch to the fine-point blade.
  • Select the Fine-cut settings for 300g paper (e.g., 220g pressure, 80mm/s).
  • ⚠️ Verify that only the cutting paths are active – all pen drawings should now be ignored.
  • Cut out the tags including the small hole for attaching ribbons.
6

Step6: Cut out the tags including the small hole for attaching ribbons.

  • Remove the tags carefully from the mat.
  • Add a ribbon or string through the hole and attach the tag to gifts, bags, or decorations.
  • Done – your Halloween tags are ready to use!
