🎉 Laser-Made Round Birthday Tags – Step-by-Step Guide

Place your 300 g cardstock on the electrostatic mat to keep it flat and secure.

Frame the design area in XCS so you know exactly where the tags will be placed.

Insert the black drawing pen.
👉 Make sure the settings are correct (line drawing / color fill as needed).
👉 Hide all objects you don’t want drawn in this step.
Start drawing the outline and “Happy Birthday” text.

If you want to add a name or decorative text in blue (like Laura or Happy Birthday in script font), switch to the blue pen.
👉 Again, check settings carefully and ensure only the correct text is active.

Replace the pen with the fine-cut blade.
👉 Double-check that only the red cut lines are active.
👉 Hide any text or outlines you don’t want cut.
Cut out the round tag including the hole.

If you didn’t add a name by machine, you can handwrite it now with any pen you like.
