This is my very first entry here. I hope this project is welcome here as I realize it may deviate from the norm with a lot of other hand made elements that I did not use the xTool for. I hope others find this inspirational and hopefully it will spark some imaginations too. I have truly enjoyed looking at the fascinating projects that others have shared for this contest and admire the technical skills that a lot of you possess. I tend to lean more creative vs. technical, and use the desire to create something as my fuel to learn how to make the design files for it, no matter how many times I have to revise it.
This project is for a fun, freshly squeezed lemonade concession stand in miniature form. The walls, floor, ceiling, and some of the accessories were cut with my xTool and the rest are either printable graphics or found items that I was able to upcycle. I wrote the instructions with the assumption that the user has already made a couple of xTool projects and knows how to run cut jobs through Creative Space. Sorry there are no step by step instructions for that, or any other portions of the project. The instructions I have provided are meant to be inspirational vs. specific.
A little background about me. I have been obsessed with dollhouses and their accessories since I was a young girl. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed creating hand made items over the years and repurposing and upcycling items for these projects has been especially rewarding for me. In recent years I started to teach myself graphic design for not only SVG files, but for colorful graphics too. This project does a fairly adequate job of melding my penchant for repurposing with my enjoyment of creating my own graphics. I hope others enjoy this project, either as presented or by incorporating elements of it to come up with a fresh and different work of art.
These files are being shared with you for personal use only. You may not redistribute them or take credit for the creation of them. Thank you in advance for respecting my TOS.
The finished project as it is presented, from the base to the very top of the “Fresh Squeezed Lemonade” sign, stands just under 8” tall. I used my xTool s1 10w for this but of course most other xTool laser machines will work. This will likely be a multi day project as there are a lot of steps that will take several hours total to complete.
