Look What I Made Magnets (Pencil Shape)

      School is back in session. My kids are coming home with lots of new artwork that need to be displayed. These personalized pencil magnets help identify which kid made the artwork while holding it firmly on the fridge door.

My kids wanted to personally color their own pencil magnets too, so we had a little paint party today. They chose whimsical colors and I stuck with the traditional yellow colored pencils.

These pencils are engraved and scored on basswood. They are painted with acrylic paint markers afterwards. I glued a magnet behind them. This project is a great scrap buster.
