Handpainted highland cow earrings - 2 layers
Engrave and cut the design I provided. You can make it bigger if you want, but please do it for all pieces together; and also check the small hole's size - maybe you want to keep it small.
I am using 10W M1 machine, adjust your settings if you have to.
Use water-based acrylic pens (I use this pack of POSCA markers), just a few colors. I decided to make the base to black; other than that I used white for the horns, and dark brown and light brown for the face.
For the base part, you do not need to fill it fully - since you will need to glue to cow face to it, keep that part clean. Check my pictures, how did I do it.
I painted the base's back side too.
Glue them together.
Note: the 2 sides are a bit different, make sure that you add the right one to the right, and left one to the left.
I used SuperGlue - any kind of wood glue would be fine - I suggest the one which dries transparent.
Wait until it dries
When it dried, you can lightly varnish the whole earrings. (front side, back side, sides and inside part.) It will give extra glow, extra strenght, and it will be a bit water resistant.
Add earring settings (I added 2 rings and a hoop to both). And you are ready to wear :)
If you made it, comment here and share a photo :)
