Christmas Tree Lantern/Lamp

      I used the blank lantern box remixed from below, and added the tree cut out.  I have also added a 10x10 mm top to give a flush look to the top of the lantern.  I moved the base pieces onto the larger design to try to reduce the waste.  I was able to get all four sides, top, and all of the base pieces onto a sheet of 1/8" or 3 mm basswood 12"x20" (30x50 mm).  I used scrap pieces to make the bottom pieces and the additional top.  The side pieces are a little snug just before alignment so I used a small hammer to tap them into place.  Same for the top and bottom tabs.
