Made an Easter bunny from a wave, it is carrying some Easter eggs as well. Made this for my grand daughter
Step 1) This project starts out as a simple wave, this wave is copy and pasted to create a second one. It is then flipped over with the help of the reflect button. Then the 2 waves are placed on top of each other. The next thing is to use the combine feature to unite them together. Then with the size ratio unlocked they are resized and shaped.
Step 2) Now that we have the bunny shape we need to remove the insides. This is done with a circle shape made with the insert button, It is sized to cover the inside portion that needs to be removed. Once in place the combine option is used and uniting the pieces it removes them. This step is done for both inside pieces the same way. You are left with a bunny shape and the body is full.
Step 3) Now the bunny needs a face, this is done with a face from a bunny in the shapes list. The face portion is all that is needed so once these pieces are placed the rest of the new bunny is deleted as it is no longer needed. Then the parts are put in place and are set to be engraved.
Step 4) Now the bunny is ready all it needs are 3 eggs it will be carrying, this is done with 3 egg shapes. They get painted multiple colors when finished and glued on the belly of the bunny. Once everything is cut out the pre-painted bunny is ready.
