A helicopter puzzle toy with spinning propeller. The assembly is easy and doesn't take much time. If you download the design, it will help me reach more people.
Laser cut the pieces. Make sure you don't throw away a very small circular piece that is cut out from the middle of the propeller. It is hidden in the picture.
Slide the two body pieces together. Make sure they are aligned.
Add the bottom support on to the bottom of the body and then glue on the landing skids in to it.
There are no notches so make sure you center the skids manually. They should be parallel to the body and aligned to each other.
I use a clip to hold the body upside down in a horizontal position. This makes it much easier to assemble.
Wait for the glue to dry before turning it over.
Add a larger circular piece and the smaller circular piece on the top of the helicopter as shown in the picture.
Make sure there is no glue before you place the rotor blade. This part should not be glued and will spin. If there is any glue wipe it off and wait for it to cure.
Then add the second larger circular piece on top, making sure you don't glue the rotor blade. I only applied glue on the top of it. It should be strong enough.
Make sure the rotor blade spins freely.
