1️⃣ Preparation
Clean the stainless steel surface thoroughly with alcohol.
For best results, apply a thin layer of black spray paint (e.g. matte acrylic) or cover the surface with a wet white paper layer — both methods improve marking contrast.
Secure the cup firmly on your rotary attachment (RA2 Pro) to ensure even rotation.
2️⃣ Design Setup
Open xTool Creative Space or LightBurn.
Add the text Keep Calm and Drink Coffee and a thin female silhouette line drawing (0.1–0.2 mm stroke).
Align the design to wrap neatly around the cup’s curved surface.
3️⃣ Engraving
Double-check rotation direction and positioning in software preview.
Apply the above parameters and start engraving.
Observe the process — if using paper, it should lightly dry but not burn.
4️⃣ Finishing
Once engraving is complete, let the cup cool.
If painted, remove paint residue using alcohol or acetone and a soft cloth.
Rinse and dry — the design should appear in a matte silver or dark contrast finish depending on the surface treatment.
