Information

Because we know someone who's absolutely crazy about penguins, we made this multi-layered model for him. It's a very easy project and very simple to assemble. All you need is... wood, wood-glue and tissues to remove any excess glue.

Instruction

We'll assemble it step by step.
The first photo give you an overview of which layer goes on which.

  • Start with the base pinguïn.
  • Now take the next layer and apply wood glue to the back.
    • Be sure to apply the glue sparingly and distribute it evenly.
  • Place the second layer on top of the base layer,
    • Work carefully and ensure all layers are perfectly aligned
    • Remove excess adhesive immediately.
  •  Do the same workaround for layer steps 2 through 6
  •  so………………….. glue on the back of the layer you're adding to the project.

  • Layer 7 (step6 (yellow collor on “overview”) is a little bit different. Go to step 3.

Step3: Mount layer 7-Step 6 (yellow) on overview

Step 6/Layer 7 is slightly different than the previous layers.
This is because some parts of this layer don't make contact with other already installed layers. Parts of this layer are "float" in your project.

  • Now, apply no glue to the back of layer 7 but on the top layer of your model.
  • Spread the glue evenly.
  • Now place layer 7 on your project and align the sides and inside with the other layers.
  • Remove excess adhesive immediately.

Go now to the next step

Step4: Instal the last 2 layers

  • Assemble the last two layers of your penguin in the same way as explained in step 2 of this description.
  • First, glue the back of the new layer and then apply it to your model.
  • Apply glue evenly and thinly.
  • make sure to remove any excess glue (both on the outside and inside the model) quickly

Tip: we always use a potato peeler with a tuft around it. This way, you can reach places were your fingers are too big for.

  •  Let your model dry thoroughly.

Thats it. Your multylayer penguin is ready.

Thanks for downloading❤️this project and have more fun with our (other) models.😍

It is always fun to make it, and also nice to 🎁 it away afterwards.

Happy with this project? Give me a 👍up. THKS.
