XTool P2 Mirror Helper and Seating Tool

This handy tool is designed specifically for the xTool P2 laser cutter to make mirror maintenance quicker and easier. It attaches securely to the back of the mirror, giving you better grip and control for removing and reseating it during cleaning.
There are 3 different versions of the tool to match the 3 mirrors - mirror 1 has a notch on the bottom right, mirror 2 has the notch on the bottom left and mirror 3 has no notches. When attaching the tool to the mirror align the notch on the tool with the notch on the mirror and the arrow on the handle will point straight up.
A 3D printable version of this tool is also available - download the STL file and print using a 3D printer before attaching to your mirrors.
Instruction
Step1: (Optional) Apply double sided tape
Each mirror tool consists of a bottom circular piece and a top handle piece. The top piece can be attached to the bottom using CA glue or you can attach 3M tape before cutting. The tool can be attached to the mirror using either CA glue, or a strong double sided tape like XFasten Double Sided Tape.
Step2: Cut the pieces and stick together
Cut out the pieces and then join them together either using the double sided tape or CA glue. Be sure that the notch is in the bottom left or bottom right corner for mirrors 1 and 2 so the handle will point straight up and make alignment easier.
Step3: Attach tool to mirror
Attach the tool to the back of the mirror using either strong double sided tape or glue. Ensure the notch on the tool aligns with the notch on the mirror for mirrors 1 and 2. Mirror 3 does not have a notch on the housing.
Step4
Place the mirror with the tool back into the machine and calibrate the optical path to ensure the mirrors are all alignment correctly. You can use the guide here: https://support.xtool.com/article/196
