I was asked to make something super unique, memorable and special for an uber Liverpool superfan for her 40th Birthday. I decided on a framed challenge coin that would keep the memory of her 40th birthday tied into an incredible football season that saw her favorite club win the Premier League in style.

Step1
first off make sure you have a true brass coin not some the cheap brass plated zinc stuff as this wont work as well on there for a great finish.
centre your coin in a jig so that it doesnt move because with all the heat this will conduct you want to keep it as still as possible especially if you want use an air duster like I did to blow away as much debris as possible. You can see the insane fine detail i got when I dialled in my settings. once it has finished DO NOT TOUCH it for at least 10 mins otherwise you're gonna get burned as it will be ridiculously hot.
once the engraving is complete and the coin has cooled down you can begin to clean off all the debris with some soft microfibre cloth and alcohol spray.
replace the coin and run the cleaning pass (the whole blue circle), place it over the image of your coin and let the F1 Ultra go over it as often as you would like to get it clean and to remove as much black debris as possible without losing the detail.
