A coaster with a geometric pattern with bottom offset ring to protect sensitive surfaces. The model includes an optional top edge ring which if glued, prevents you from accidentally tipping your drink off the coaster.
First cut out all of the parts. While my profile is made for a 3mm thick material, the nature of this model allows you to use any kind of thickness, even different thicknesses for individual parts.
Apply a thin layer of glue on to the bottom spacer. I recommend you don't go completely to the edge.
If the parts bent when cutting, you can align them in opposite direction to straighten them out.
Press the bottom spacer on to the coaster part. Use clamps or place some weight on top to keep the parts pressed together.
Wait for the glue to cure.
This is an optional step. Including this part will prevent you from tipping your drink off the coaster.
Repeat the same process as before.
Apply a thin glue layer and press the ring on to the coaster. Apply some pressure and wait for the glue to dry.
No description required for this step.
