In this project, we’ll create a stunning color engraving on a round stainless steel pendant using an IR laser. Step1: Test Settings with your Material

Different kinds of stainless steel create different colours. To check if the colours are to your liking we recommend checking the parameters first. A Test Grid is included in the file.

Step2: Adjust size
If necessary adjust the size and parameters of the file to your material

Step3: Set up your pendant
- Place it flat on your laser bed
- Use a jig to hold it securely in position (like Laser cut and engrave | Centering Jig for xTool F1 | Free Files - Atomm)
- focus the IR laser on the metal surface
