Step 1) This project starts from a clean work area, the first thing is to create a circle and an oval from the insert button. These 2 items are them put together and copy and pasted to make a second set right away. The second set will be used later. With the first set he combine feature is used to subtract the bottom portion of the oval and remove some of the circle shape.

Step2: Outlines and Palm Trees

Step 2) Once the first circle has been reshaped it is outlined with the outline feature. This needs to be a thick border so a 0.3 off set is set. Once it has a new border it will be used later. Now on to the other circle, From the shape list a couple different palm trees are added on the curve. These will become part of the inner part of the circle so the combine feature is used and the trees and circle are united.

Step3: Creating the overall Border

Step 3) Now the palm trees are part of the inner circle by using the combine feature and subtracting the bottom portion of the oval like we did with the first one. No the overall border needs to be placed around this. So the first circle that we outlined earlier is moved over to become the outside. The inside of the circle is not needed any longer so it can be deleted.

Step4: Title

Step 4) Now we are going to add a title to the sign, in this case it is Beach Life. This is done with the text editor. Once the size and the font has been chosen the curve feature is adjusted so the text will follow the shape of the bottom of the sign.

Step 5) Now once the laser machine has finished cutting and engraving the sign the printed paper is used to fill the sky. This is simply cut a slight bit smaller the the sign itself and is glued to the back, giving the visual of the blue cloudy skies on the sign. Once this is altogether it is ready to showcase.
