🧾 Step-by-Step Instructions:
Design the map layout
Use a detailed vector map of Europe with country or region boundaries.
Separate each country as an individual puzzle piece.
Optionally add engravings for country names, capitals, or outlines.
Prepare materials
Use two A3 birch plywood sheets (3 mm thick).
Apply masking tape for cleaner results if needed.
Align both sheets precisely.
Cut and engrave
Engrave any labels or borders first.
Cut the full puzzle on the top layer only.
Glue layers together
After cutting the top map layer, glue it onto a solid A3 plywood backing.
Use uniform pressure while drying to avoid warping.
This ensures the puzzle is strong and won’t flex or break.
Final touches
Optionally sand the edges and apply natural oil or clear varnish.
