🧾 Step-by-Step Instructions:

Design the puzzle pairs

Create simple matching pairs: one with an object/image (e.g., 🐱), the other with the English word (e.g., “cat”).

Use clear, kid-friendly fonts and icons.

Create a connecting cut shape for each pair – puzzle-style or straight tabs.

Arrange pairs on your material

Use A4 or A5 canvas size depending on how many you want to fit.

Make sure pieces are evenly spaced for clean cuts.

Add a thin border if you want a "frame" around the whole set.

Prepare and secure material

Apply masking if needed.

Insert plywood into the laser cutter and autofocus.

Engrave first

Engrave icons and text (one per puzzle piece) before cutting.

Cut puzzle shapes

Cut the outer frame (optional) and each pair.

Use slow, clean cut settings for detailed shapes.

Finishing touches

Remove masking tape.

Optionally sand edges or finish with child-safe oil.

You may also color-code the pairs or outline images for clarity.
