Information
Sonic the Hedgehog figurine.
Contains 3 layers:
1. Backer Piece with a bottom tab to insert into a stand. An optional true to shape backer piece.
2. Main layer cut out with scored parts to mark placement of top layered pieces to give a 3D effect.
3. Top layer Pieces to achieve a 3D effect.

Step1: Color Coding

Color code key for files:
Red = cut
Orange = upper layers
Purple = score
Green = instructions.

Step2: Material selection
I used 3 mm birch for the backer pieces. I used 5mm MDF for the upper layers of the character. Use sandpaper or a Dremel to knock down sharp edges to make them appear more rounded.
Backer with tab can be used to make a standee. Backer without tab can be used to create a wall hanging.
