Laser Engraved Wooden U.S. Navy Veteran Sign with American Flag

      I made this plaque for a long time high school friend and then Navy shipmate. I covered his name and rank for privacy, However, the file you upload will show where to put the name and rank for your veteran. You can delete the printing there and insert your own wording. I used Stencil font for effect. In the Navy, everything I owned was stenciled. So, stencil font.
This can be lasered into just about any wood, but you will probably need to adjust power and speed accordingly. I used 3/4 inch 12 x 11.25 inch oak. I picked oak for the sheer beauty of the oak grain with the flag. To get the depth I wanted, I made 2 passes with the S1 40W. at 100% power. The depth came out great. Each pass takes approximately 1 hour. I hope you enjoy.
