Print & Blade cut mode has been released for a while. Have you tried it? This mode is very convenient when you want to cut out printed images. For Blade cut mode, it only cuts the shape. But with this mode, only if your material can be put into the printer and get printed, the patterns can be cut out with M1.
Here're some stickers I've made.
Now follow the steps to print and blade cut!
Select and extract the images
Choose the pictures that you want to print. I love my hamsters so much and I want to decorate my laptop and table with the stickers which are printed with them. I selected the following photos.
After selecting the images you're gonna print, import the images into Photoshop.
Use this function from the left tool bar to extract the part that you want.
Then create a new file in the size of standard A4 paper with no background (as the pic below shows). Drag all the images that you have extracted to the new file. Leave enough space between the images so that you can set outline of each in XCS. You can also save each image as a single file.
After all the editing is done, save this file in png format.
Import the image into xTool Creative Space
Import the saved image into xTool Creative Space. Select the images, set outline for them with the function "Outline" at the top tool bar. Due to my experience, I think 2mm is good enough.
Select "Print & blade cut" mode. Choose "White Sticker Paper" from the material list.
Note:
If you can not set the parameters for the outline of the images, use "Arrange" to adjust the layers.
When you select the layer of the outline, then select "xTool selected reference". Because the sticker paper I use was from xTool official, I don't have to set parameters for it specifically.
Start Processing
Next step, click "Process" at the bottom-right corner. If there's pop-up showing like this, you need to adjust the size.
Next step, click "Print" button. Make sure your computer is connected to the printer. Then put in the white sticker paper.
After you successfully print the patterns, place the sticker paper on the cutting mat. Click "Next"
Click "Framing" to make clear the processing area. When all the steps are done, you can click "Start" to process!
