🎯 Goal:
Cut a pair of teardrop-shaped earrings with an “ॐ (Om)” symbol in the center using your xTool D1 Pro 20W laser, on a 3 mm thick material (e.g., wood, acrylic).
🛠️ Steps to Use with xTool Creative Space (XCS):
1. Material Preparation
Place your material (e.g., 3 mm wood) flat and firmly on the workbed.
Make sure the laser focus is correctly set for 3 mm thickness (either with the focusing tool or manual height adjustment).
2. Import the File
If not already done, import the SVG or vector image into XCS.
Position the earrings on the virtual workspace where you want to cut them.
You can group the shapes to move them together easily if needed.
3. Laser Settings
From your screenshot, you’ve set:
Mode: Cut
Power: 100%
Speed: 11 mm/s
Passes: 2
✅ These settings are suitable for cutting 3 mm wood with a xTool D1 Pro 20W.
💡 Tip: If the edges look too burnt, you can try increasing the speed slightly (e.g., to 13–15 mm/s) or activate air assist if available.
4. Alignment and Preview
Click Preview to make sure the earrings are correctly placed on the material.
Use the Framing feature to see where the laser will cut (it traces the outline without cutting).
5. Start the Job
When ready, click Start.
Carefully monitor the laser while it’s working for safety.
Let the material cool before removing the cut pieces.
🧼 Finishing (optional)
Smooth the edges with fine sandpaper if needed.
You can apply varnish or wood oil for surface protection.
Attach jump rings and earring hooks to the small hole at the top.
