Slate (rock) Coaster:
- Do a measure test onto one of the coasters (I use the auto-measure setting)
- Mark your coasters' processing area (I can squeeze 2 ½ sets in my processing area).
Once it's marked, place an image in that box and size it to whatever you want (I leave a little space when using rock coasters to keep the image clean) - After you get images placed where you want them to be, then close your lid to the machine and process it.
- The power and speed is in the xcs file
Box:
*I stain my wood before processing and give about a day to dry before placing in machine. You don't have to do this, but it's what I do
- Place your sheet of wood in the machine and do a measure test (I use the auto-measuring setting)
- Mark your wood processing area (this takes up as much space as the xtool allows, so be cautious)
- I can fit all the pieces to cut onto a single sheet (I left the wood exactly how I run it on the sheet in the xcs file) but if you need to, please arrange it to your liking
- Once you have the box pieces fitted inside your processing area (the setting I use is also in the xcs file) go ahead and close the lid and process it.
- Once everything is all cut out you will need to glue the pieces together. It's a slider box, so make sure that you are gluing everything tight to ensure it'll be a functioning slider box.
