Information

      how to create a realistic look on slate.  (Settings used on my Xtool F1)

materials you will need: 
Matte clear spray paint or mod podge
slate material you wish to use.

Layer the slate with 1 layer of clear matte spray paint or Mod Podge
let dry completely.
Select the image you want to engrave.
Position your image on the material to your liking.
Settings used:
Slate Coaster
Dot duration: 150
Power 90%
DPI  450

Step1: Coast Slate with Matte Clear spray paint or MOD Podge

Coat with 1 layer, Let dry

Step2: Select image you want to engrave

Pick the image that you would like engraved on your slate

Step3: Place image

position the image where you would like it to be engraved

Step4: Adjust settings

Dot duration : 150

Power : 90%

DPI : 450

Step5: Print your project

Print and enjoy
