🛠️ Laser Engraving Instructions (xTool S1 – 20W, slate 10×10 cm)

📐 Material & Setup

Material: Natural slate

Size: 10 × 10 cm

Machine: xTool S1 – 20W

Air Assist: OFF (recommended for stone)

Fixation: Use flat surface or non-slip mat

🔍 Engraving Settings (Text & Designs)

Power: 90–100%

Speed: 100–150 mm/s

Lines per cm (LPI): 150–250 (for crisp detail)

Mode: Fill (for text)

Passes: 1

Air Assist: OFF

✅ Tips:

Clean surface before engraving (remove dust/oils).

Slate can flake – use lower speed and higher LPI for finer detail.

Do not use cut mode – slate is brittle and will crack.

Engraving will produce white to light gray contrast.
