Information
A nice bottle of wine or champagne is always welcome for any Christmas gathering ya! However the last thing we want is to appear that it was just grab it off the liquor store as a last min gift without much thought put into it. A simple bottle tag with customise message or even engraving is all it takes to change that and make it a conversation starter with the host & guest this holiday ;)

Using 3mm bass wood (you can use acrylic as well if you want to) place on Xtool honeycomb with air assist running, I set the section that's to be laser cut and those that's for engraving.

For cutting, 90%power at 4 speed(mm/s) works well on my material. You can always run a test grid on your material to ensure the setting works well. We need the hinge cuts to be nicely cut out so it will give us the flexibility of bending.

As for engraving, I set it at 80% power running at the speed go 150(mm/s). You can also do a deeper engrave if you intent to color fill it as well.

Simply run the laser to start it's job on cutting and engraving.
